This site is run by me, Catherine Loc-Carrillo, through my business, The Hormetic Path LLC. This page explains, in plain language, what information I collect, why, and what you can ask me to do with it.
Last updated: October 29, 2026
When you contact me: your name, email address, the topic you choose, and your message.
When you book a call or buy something: scheduling and payment happen through outside services (such as Calendly, Stripe, and Teachable). They collect the details needed to book or take payment. I never see or store your full card number.
When you join an email list: your name and email address, so I can send you the emails you signed up for.
When you visit the site: like most websites, the hosting service keeps basic technical records, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site running and secure.
I use your information to reply to you, to provide services you’ve asked for, to send emails you signed up for, and to keep this site working and secure. I don’t sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.
I use a small number of trusted services to run my work: website hosting (Elementor), email (Google), scheduling (Calendly), payments (Stripe), my online program platform (Teachable), and email newsletters (MailerLite). They only receive what they need to do their job, and each has its own privacy policy. I may also share information if the law requires it.
If you hire me to create an AI avatar or voice of you, I collect photos, video, and voice recordings of you only with your written, signed consent. I use them only to make content for you. I keep them until your final payment has cleared and our work together ends, then delete them within 30 days. You can ask me to confirm in writing that they’ve been deleted. Our signed agreement gives the full details.
This site uses only the small files (cookies) it needs to work properly. My hosting provider (Elementor) and its network partner (Cloudflare) collect basic, anonymous statistics, such as page views and loading speed, to keep the site fast and secure. These don’t use advertising cookies or follow you to other websites. I don’t use Google Analytics, Facebook pixels, or any advertising trackers.
I keep messages and client records only as long as I need them to work with you, keep proper business and tax records, or meet legal requirements. Email list details stay until you unsubscribe.
You can ask me to show you the information I have about you, correct it, or delete it. You can unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of that email. If you live in Europe, the UK, or California, the law gives you these rights, and I extend them to everyone. To make a request, use the contact page. I’ll reply within 30 days.
My business is based in Washington State, so this section explains how I handle health-related information under Washington’s My Health My Data Act.
What this covers: anything that relates to your physical or mental health, such as what you share about stress, sleep, energy, wellbeing, or health goals in a contact message, a booking question, or a coaching session.
Where it comes from: only from you, when you choose to share it.
Why I collect it: only to reply to you and to provide the coaching or services you’ve asked for. I collect it only with your consent or when it’s needed for the service you requested.
Who receives it: only the services that help me run my work, such as Google (email and video calls), Calendly (scheduling), and Teachable (my online program). I never sell your health information.
Your rights: you can ask me to confirm whether I hold your health information, see it, get a list of who has received it, delete it, or withdraw your consent. Make a request through the contact page, and I’ll reply within 30 days. If I can’t meet a request, I’ll explain why, and you can ask me to reconsider. If you’re still not satisfied, you can contact the Washington State Attorney General’s Office.
This site and my services are meant for adults. I don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
If I change how I handle information, I’ll update this page and the date at the top.
